The cat loves shopping. Here’s what we’re building: when a shopper buys a product carrying the Cha-Ching badge, the store locks CHACHING tokens in a treasury because of that purchase.

The store supplies the tokens. The shopper gets their product. Cha-Ching celebrates the lock, and the community cart shows the tokens locked through shopping.

From the badge to the lock

1. Spot the badge. The store marks participating products with Cha-Ching and explains how many tokens a qualifying purchase will lock.
2. Buy the product. The store confirms the eligible paid order and supplies the CHACHING tokens for the lock.
3. See the cha-ching. Once the onchain lock is confirmed, the celebration joins the community cart with a transaction to check.

Shopping puts CHACHING in the treasury.

The intended mechanism is a token lock: the store commits CHACHING to a treasury when a badged product sells. A purchase does not give the shopper tokens or Shopify shares.

The extension is in development. Token amounts, lock terms, and refund handling will be published before stores go live. The community cart will count confirmed locks, with customer and order details kept private.

Open source. Store-run. Agent-led.

Each store will run its own backend. The shared code will connect the product badge, the paid order, the treasury lock, and the celebration.

AI agents will lead implementation and testing, with human direction and release approval. Store owners and community contributors can help shape and review the build.
